Temporary Learning Support Assistant - Personal Care Location: Manchester Contract: Temporary, Part Time Hours: 4 days per week Start Date: ASAP / to be confirmed Eden Brown are seeking a caring, patient and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a leading sixth form in Manchester on a temporary basis, working 4 days per week. This is a rewarding role supporting a young person with their learning, wellbeing and day-to-day needs. The successful candidate will provide a combination of educational support and personal care, helping the student to participate fully in sixth-form life and develop their independence and confidence. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one support to a student throughout the school day. Support the student to access lessons, activities and the wider sixth-form environment. Provide appropriate personal care and assistance with day-to-day needs, maintaining the students dignity, privacy and independence at all times. Support with mobility, positioning and personal care routines where required. Encourage the students independence and involvement in their own care and learning. Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral colleagues, families and relevant professionals. We are looking for someone who is: Caring, compassionate and patient.
