Job Title: Learning Support Assistant ( Study Programme) Location: Northwich and Crewe Salary: £24k About the Role Our client is looking for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team and support learners aged to succeed in their education and career pathways. Working closely with tutors and support staff, you will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping learners access the curriculum, develop confidence, and progress towards their goals. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment, particularly for learners with additional needs or Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). As the Learning Support Assistant you will also support learners in accessing work placements, liaising with employers and local authorities to create meaningful opportunities that support career development. Key Responsibilities As the Learning Support Assistant you will provide individualised 1:1 learning support to help students engage in lessons and achieve their learning goals. Support tutors in delivering classroom activities, assisting individuals or small groups. Work with learners with EHCPs, ensuring their educational, emotional and physical needs are supported. Encourage learners to develop confidence, independence and self-management skills. Support behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
