Academics is working with a well-established primary school in Monmouthshire that is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant from September 2026. The successful candidate will provide additional support to pupils who may need a little more help with their learning or confidence in the classroom. You may work with individual pupils as well as small groups, helping with areas such as phonics, reading, writing and maths. You will work alongside the class teacher to understand the needs of the children you are supporting and help put the right strategies in place. The role will involve encouraging pupils to take part in lessons, breaking tasks down where needed and helping children become more independent in their learning.
