• Have experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting.

• Be patient, understanding and adaptable to pupils'' individual needs.

• Be confident supporting learning activities and helping pupils remain engaged.

• Be proactive in creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.

• Work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff.

Experience supporting pupils with additional needs would be beneficial.
