Working across Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and the surrounding areas in Staffordshire can be diversified, meaning that we work with an assortment of primary schools and that we do have different requirements to suit. We are proud to say that here at Academics we have had a strong record of placing many of our Learning Support Assistants into permanent work following a successful period of long term supply within our primary schools. Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant (LSA): Working with learners either 1-2-1 or in small groups. Support learners to develop essential skills, build social connections, and engage actively in learning. Managing behaviour and engaging learners with their own learning. Small group interventions and supporting children with a range of needs (SEND). Committed to support both the teacher and the learners to succeed.
