Learning Support Assistant Alternative Provision High Peak (SK23) 100- 120 per day Long-Term to Permanent ASAP StartThe Opportunity: Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a small alternative provision secondary school within a Multi-Academy Trust based in the High Peak (SK23). The provision supports students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional behavioural needs in a nurturing, structured, and highly supportive environment. This role involves supporting students across a range of subjects, including Maths, English, Science, and other core curriculum areas, helping learners re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to support students with a range of additional learning and behavioural needsProvide 1:1 and small group support across multiple subjects, including Maths, English, Science, and moreSupport students to access the curriculum by adapting resources and learning strategies where requiredEncourage engagement, focus, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour within the classroomAssist students with coursework, organisation, and differentiated learning activitiesFoster a safe, positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentMonitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and the SEN department to adapt support strategiesWho We''re Looking For:Level 3 qualification minimum and essentialExperience working with SEN ..... full job details .....
