Long Term Futures are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming girls'' secondary school in Wandsworth, supporting students across KS3 and KS4.

The school is looking for a proactive and engaging Learning Support Assistant who can provide additional academic and pastoral support to students, including those with SEN and additional learning needs.

This is a long-term position offering excellent experience for an established LSA/Teaching Assistant or a graduate considering a future career in teaching, SEN or education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students across KS3 and KS4
• Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support
• Support students with SEN and additional learning needs
• Work alongside teachers within mainstream lessons
• Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
• Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement
• Support behaviour and emotional wellbeing where required
• Work closely with the SENCO, teachers and pastoral team

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or SEN TA is desirable
• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• Understanding of SEN/SEND and barriers to learning
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Confidence supporting students across different subjects
• A patient, professional and proactive approach
• Graduates considering teacher training are encouraged to apply
