Learning Support Assistant - Girls'' Secondary School - WandsworthFull Time Term Time Only Immediate Start Up to 125 per day Long-Term OpportunityLong Term Futures are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming girls'' secondary school in Wandsworth, supporting students across KS3 and KS4.The school is looking for a proactive and engaging Learning Support Assistant who can provide additional academic and pastoral support to students, including those with SEN and additional learning needs.This is a long-term position offering excellent experience for an established LSA/Teaching Assistant or a graduate considering a future career in teaching, SEN or education.Key Responsibilities:Support students across KS3 and KS4Provide 1:1 and small-group learning supportSupport students with SEN and additional learning needsWork alongside teachers within mainstream lessonsDeliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventionsAdapt learning materials to meet individual needsEncourage independence, confidence and positive engagementSupport behaviour and emotional wellbeing where requiredWork closely with the SENCO, teachers and pastoral teamIdeal Candidate Will Have:Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or SEN TA is desirableExperience working with secondary-aged studentsUnderstanding of SEN/SEND and barriers to learningStrong literacy and numeracy skillsConfidence supporting students across different subjectsA patient, professional and ..... full job details .....
