Long Term Futures is seeking a dependable and motivated Learning Support Assistant for a friendly secondary school and sixth form in Wandsworth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and wants to help students become more confident, independent learners. You will work with pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, as well as Post-16, providing practical and academic support within the classroom. Working alongside teachers, the SENCO and pastoral colleagues, you will help students with a variety of additional needs participate fully in lessons, overcome barriers to learning and make meaningful academic and personal progress. Your Responsibilities Support students during lessons across KS3, KS4 and Sixth Form. Lead focused one-to-one sessions and small-group interventions. Assist young people with additional needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language difficulties, and mild social, emotional and mental health needs.
