Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to students with additional educational needs, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You may also be called upon to aid the class teacher as a general learning support assistant, helping with whole class. As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments and facilitate the individualised support necessary for each student''s success. Responsibilities: Provide support to the class teacher and students with special educational needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) and moderate and profound learning difficulties (MLD and PMLD) Assist students with academic tasks, communication, behaviour management, and daily tasks. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individual education plans and tailor support strategies to meet students'' specific needs. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
