Join Us for an Exciting Opportunity as a Learning Support Assistant in Harrow Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (Personal Care)Location: Harrow Salary : £18 -£23 per hour Contract: Long Term - Full-time - Ongoing Start Date: SeptemberAbout the RoleWe are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students with special educational needs (SEN), including those requiring personal care.This is a rewarding role working closely with pupils who may have autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), or physical disabilities, helping them access education and develop independence.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group support to students with SENAssist with personal care needs (toileting, feeding, changing, mobility support)Support students with communication and emotional regulationWork alongside teachers to adapt learning activitiesUse specialist equipment where required (e.g. hoists, sensory tools)Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all timesMonitor and record student progressAbout YouExperience working with children or young people (SEN, care, healthcare, nursery, or similar)Comfortable supporting personal care needsPatient, empathetic, and resilientStrong teamwork and communication skillsWillingness to learn and undertake trainingDesirable:Experience with ASD, PMLD, or complex needsMoving and Handling / Hoist trainingBackground in care, support work, or healthWhat We OfferSupportive and ..... full job details .....
