Learning Support Assistant - Full-Time ( 32.5 hours a week ) Specialist Provision Social Communication Required as soon as possible We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced full-time Learning Support Assistant to work alongside the teacher in our Specialist Provision Social Communication hub. The hub will provide academic intervention, alongside targeted social, emotional, behavioural and wellbeing support, for a small class of students. Salary scale: NJC Point 11 - 14 £14.9917 - £15.7367 per hour Main duties/responsibilities: The appointee will Assist the teacher in supporting and caring for students, including attending to any personal, medical and dietary needs; Understand and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of the specific needs of the students, as set out in their Individual Education Plans /Personal Learning Plans /Care Plans; Support students'' inclusion in mainstream lessons, College events and unstructured times; Support the students in moving around the College, assisting with supervision during unstructured times; Liaise closely with the Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) and Specialist Provision Teacher.
