TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive school in Northfield, and we are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team. This role is available on a short-term basis, with the potential to extend into a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate.

The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are supported to achieve their full potential. Staff work closely together to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

This role will involve supporting pupils across different Key Stages, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism/ASD, learning difficulties, SEMH, and behavioural needs. You will work alongside teachers and other support staff to help create a positive and engaging learning environment.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people in a school or SEND setting

• A relevant qualification (such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, Health & Social Care) or relevant experience

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting pupils
