Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking flexible and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work on a supply basis across secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, support students with additional needs, or maintain flexibility in their working week. Whether you''re available full-time or just a few days per week, we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with SEND

• Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and promoting engagement

• Supporting students across a range of subjects and ability levels

• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

• Following school policies and contributing to the wider school community

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with young people in an educational or care setting

• Be patient, reliable, and able to use their initiative

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Be confident working with students with a variety of needs

• Have (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check and complete safeguarding checks
