Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: -13.69 to -15.87 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term, ongoing with potential to become permanent

Reeson Education are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join an alternative provision in the M33 area of Manchester. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and a variety of other learning needs.

The Learning Support Assistant will work with pupils aged 11-16 in a structured and nurturing environment, helping to deliver tailored support and interventions that enable each young person to reach their full potential.

Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and other additional needs.
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualised learning and behaviour strategies.
• Support pupils to engage in lessons, social activities, and extra-curricular opportunities.
• Promote confidence, independence, and positive social interactions.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and report to teaching staff.
• Help create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment.

Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience working with pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, or other additional needs is highly desirable.
• Patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting young people.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Commitment to promoting inclusion and helping students succeed academically and socially.
