We are working with a specialist school in North London, providing education for children and young people aged 5–19 with autism and complex learning needs. Our school is part of a forward-thinking multi-academy trust and is known for its warm, inclusive ethos and commitment to helping every student achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants to join our experienced and dedicated team. In this role, you will:
- Provide individual and small group support to students in a classroom setting
- Assist with the delivery of tailored educational and therapeutic programmes
- Help create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment
- Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and life skills

- Previous experience working with children or young people with autism or special educational needs is beneficial, but not essential

Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide support to children with autism, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Engage in effective communication with students to enhance their understanding and learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and activities for early childhood education.
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring their needs are met throughout the day.
- Facilitate toddler care and support during playtime and structured activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Pay: £90.00-£110.00 per day
