SEN Learning Support Assistant – Primary & Secondary
Location: Brighton and surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (flexible days)
Pay: £89.05 – £110 per day
Hours: School hours (typically 08:30 – 15:30)
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting pupils with special educational needs in the classroom
Working 1:1 or in small groups to help children stay focused and confident
Helping with communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour
Assisting teachers with lessons and creating a calm, inclusive environment
Adapting to different schools and age groups with a positive, flexible approach
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (in schools, care, youth work, etc.)
A patient and empathetic approach, especially in challenging situations
Flexibility to work across different schools and settings
A genuine desire to help children with SEN reach their potential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
