Learning Support Assistant

Bright Star Talent are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and thriving secondary school in Darwen, rated Good by Ofsted. What you''ll be doing: Supporting students in the classroom and helping them stay engaged with their learning. Providing additional support to students who may need a little extra help. Working alongside teachers and support staff to help students make progress. Building positive, trusting relationships with students. Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour. Helping create a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment. Supporting students both academically and personally throughout the school day. We''re looking for someone who: Has experience working with children or young people. Is approachable, patient and confident. Has a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff. Is reliable and comfortable working in a busy secondary school. Can use their initiative while also working effectively as part of a team.
