      <description>Location: Penperlleni | Salary: &amp;pound;90.00/day | Type: Temporary | We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient  Learning Support Assistant (LSA)  to work within a  Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Pontypool . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people who may face barriers to learning due to social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.  The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them to engage positively with education and achieve their potential. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  Experience working with children or young people who display challenging behaviour.  A background in one or more of the following areas:  Youth Work  Social Work  Learning Support Assistant (LSA) roles  Teaching Assistant positions  Residential Childcare  Behaviour Support  Alternative Provision settings  Mentoring or Community Support Work    Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.  The ability to build positive, professional relationships with young people.  A calm, patient, and resilient approach to challenging situations.
