Learning Support Assistant

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring individual who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive difference to their education.The RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students in the classroom. Work alongside teachers to support student''s learning and engagement. Help students develop their confidence, independence and organisational skills. Support students who may have additional learning needs. Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment. Assist students with accessing and completing classroom activities. Build positive and professional relationships with students and staff. Contribute to the wider pastoral and academic support provided by the school.The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for someone who: Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within a secondary school setting. Is patient, approachable and supportive. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Can build positive relationships with students while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
