Learning Support Assistant SEND Location: Epping Sector: Further EducationRole: LSAType: Full-timeStart: ASAP / September 2026Currently recruiting for an experienced LSA to join a Further Education college in Epping Forrest, supporting learners with additional learning needs, disabilities and other barriers to learning. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN TA, LSA, Learning Support Assistant or SEND Support Worker who is passionate about helping young people develop their confidence, independence and ability to succeed within an educational environment. The Role As a Supported Learning Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the wider Supported Learning Team to provide tailored support to learners with a range of SEND and additional needs. Your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to learners in classroom and workshop environments. Supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, learning difficulties and disabilities. Helping learners access their curriculum and make progress towards their academic and personal targets. Promoting independence, confidence, positive behaviour and engagement. Supporting learners with reading, scribing, IT and adapted learning materials where required. Assisting with exam access arrangements, including reading and scribing. Supporting learners with personal care and hygiene where required, including toileting, dressing, washing and eating.
