Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant (Secondary School) Location: Wandsworth, London Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract Duration: ASAP July 2026 Salary: Competitive based on experience About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive and inclusive secondary school in Wandsworth. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, running through to July 2026. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support students with a range of special educational needs, including those with EHCPs. You will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential both in and outside the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities Support classroom management and promote positive behaviour Liaise with teaching staff, parents/carers, and external agencies Maintain accurate records of student progress and support needs Contribute to the development of a nurturing and inclusive learning environment Requirements: Experience working with young people with special educational needs (preferably in a school setting) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, patient, and flexible approach to support Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students Relevant qualifications or ..... full job details .....
