Role - Learning Support Assistant - South BristolSector - Education and Training Academics Bristol is recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEND provision in South Bristol. This school supports children and young people aged 4-19 with severe or profound learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) with complex needs, and significant barriers to learning.We are looking for compassionate, highly motivated individuals with experience supporting children with SEND to help create a challenging, stimulating, and supportive learning environment where students can progress towards greater independence.About the Learning Support Assistant role: 90 - 120 per day, depending on experienceImmediate start - Term-time onlyFull-time, ongoing roleWorking with Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils (ages 4 - 7)Supporting students with severe learning difficulties, ASD, SEMH needs, and complex needs, including those with physical, visual, or hearing impairmentsEncouraging student engagement and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environmentWorking within a multi-agency team that includes Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and PaediatriciansThis role is physically demanding and requires emotional and physical resilience.What we''re looking for in a Learning Support Assistant:Experience working with children or young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and/or ..... full job details .....
