Learning Support Assistant - Stafford - Part Time - Start Date: September 2026We are currently recruiting to appoint a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join one of our partner primary schools from September 2026 onwards in a long-term role on a part-time basis working through a trusted supply agency. This role is vital to the school and involves supporting a vast range of children with varying needs including working alongside children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP''s). The school are particularly interested in candidates who have a background in supporting children with Speech and Language, ADHD, Autism and SEMH.You will be working within a friendly, welcoming school atmosphere where you will quickly become a valued member of the teaching team. You will be working directly alongside the class teacher and as a Learning Support Assistant you''ll be encouraged to "follow your own lead" using your own initiative and skills to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for the children.The Role includes:Having a calm, patient and proactive approach in order to support a range of pupils with varying needs.Have the ability to build effective relationships with multiple staff members, external professionals and most importantly the students.The ability to relate in a firm and friendly way with a wide range of personalities.Using your own initiative alongside being willing to undertake direction and guidance.Being motivated to work with children with special ..... full job details .....
