      <description>Location: Emsworth | Salary: &amp;pound;17915/annum Actual starting salary | Type: Permanent | Learning Support Assistant - permanent position Secondary SEN School - Emsworth, Havant   Academics are recruiting on behalf of a specialist secondary school in Emsworth, Hampshire which caters for around 100 pupils who require a personalised curriculum to meet their moderate learning needs, physical, sensory and language challenges and who may be on the Autism Spectrum.  They are looking to appoint an experienced and engaging Learning Support Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent contract, starting ASAP or in September. The starting salary is -17,915 (actual), -25,186 (FTE) - Grade C, step 1.   The working hours are 8.45am - 3pm, term-time.  Due to the needs of the pupils, this is ideal for a Learning Support Assistant with previous SEN experience, or a willingness to work with children with special educational needs. You must have recent experience of supporting children in a school or care setting.  As a successful Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis across KS3 and KS4.
