Your Role Will Include:

• Working 1:1 with a pupil with SEND, tailoring support to their EHCP targets

• Creating a safe and encouraging space where the child feels confident to learn and grow

• Supporting with both academic progress and emotional regulation

• Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external specialists to adjust support as needed

• Using positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to maintain a calm environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 or 4 Learning Support qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary setting, ideally on a 1:1 basis

• A patient, compassionate nature and strong emotional awareness

• Ability to adapt learning materials and strategies for individual needs

• Confident behaviour management skills

• Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service

• Two references from recent educational settings
