Teaching Assistant/ Learning Mentors - Richmond Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant/ learning mentors looking for a rewarding role supporting young people who need it most? We are seeking several enthusiastic Teaching Assistants and Learning Mentors to join a specialist educational setting that supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. Monday-Friday 8.15am-4pm Long-term - temp to perm Full time opportunites Location - Richmond The Role - Learning Mentor / Teaching Assistant Support students both in and out of the classroom to help them engage with learning. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced barriers to education. Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs. Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and pastoral teams to support student progress. We''re Looking For Previous experience working with children or young people, either in schools, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, care or support settings. A calm, patient and resilient approach. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A genuine passion for helping young people overcome challenges and succeed.
