Job Introduction
Learning Mentor
35 hours per week 39 weeks per year - term time plus 5 inset days.
08:30 - 16:00 with a 30-minute break for lunch.
APT and C Scale SO1 points 23-25 - £38,254 to £39,276 per annum (FTE)
Actual Salary £33,347 to £34,237 per annum for 35 hour week

We are seeking an inspirational person with vision, high expectations for learning, and excellent communication skills to support children who may have social, emotional or behavioural needs and who require additional help to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
A degree of flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the children and the school.
Experience working with children, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and a strong commitment to teamwork are essential.
Experience working with children with special needs would be an advantage.
