We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Learning Mentor to join our team in an Alternative Provision setting in Plymouth. In this role, you will work closely with pupils who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your primary goal will be to help young people re-engage with education, build self-confidence, develop emotional resilience, and reach their full potential in a safe, supportive environment. Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to students with complex SEMH needs. Help students overcome barriers to learning by building strong, trusting relationships. Support pupils in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging educational activities adapted to individual student needs.
