Job Vacancy: Learning MentorLocation: Lambeth, LondonContract Type: Full-Time, 37 hours per week Term-Time OnlyThe RoleAs a Learning Mentor, you will play an integral part in helping to remove barriers to learning and support students with autism to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work closely with the teaching team to provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring that every student receives the tailored help they need to succeed.This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who need your support the most. You will help empower them to build independence, develop social skills, and navigate their educational journey with confidence. Key ResponsibilitiesStudent-Focused Work:Provide individual and small group support to students under the direction of the team leader.Serve as a key worker for up to six named pupils, taking responsibility for their learning and development.Support students across various settings to help them participate fully in activities.Assist with the development and monitoring of Individual Education Programmes (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.Encourage and promote self-esteem, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.Help students build social skills, confidence, and emotional resilience.
