This rewarding role involves providing personalised educational, communication, sensory, and personal care support to enable learners to achieve their individual goals and participate fully in college life.Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small-group support for learners with PMLD.Assist learners to access educational activities, enrichment programmes, and community-based learning.Support communication using Makaton, PECS, communication aids, and other specialist approaches.Deliver personal care with dignity and respect, including toileting, continence care, feeding, and changing where required.Support learners with complex medical needs, including PEG feeding and medication administration (training required).Carry out safe moving and handling procedures in line with individual care plans.Monitor learner wellbeing and respond appropriately to medical, behavioural, and safeguarding ..... full job details .....
