Learning Mentor Roles - September 2026 StartAspire People - Supporting Secondary Mainstream and SEN SchoolsAspire People are currently recruiting Learning Mentors to work across a range of secondary mainstream and SEN schools for a September 2026 start. We have a variety of opportunities available, including both long-term placements and permanent positions.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It is also ideal for Psychology graduates or those with degrees related to education or SEN who are looking to gain valuable school-based experience.About the Role:As a Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students to thrive across all areas of school life. Working under the guidance of senior leaders and teaching staff, you will help remove barriers to learning, support behaviour regulation, and build students'' confidence, independence, and resilience.You will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs Build positive, trusting relationships with students and their families Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment Support students with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies Contribute to personalised learning and support plans Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals Encourage inclusion and help ..... full job details .....
