About the Role Working within SEMH department at a further education provider, you''ll provide trauma-informed, therapeutic and coaching-based support to learners aged 16-25 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, communication and interaction differences, learning difficulties, and other barriers to education. This is not a traditional support role. As a Learning Mentor, you''ll act as a key worker, building positive and trusting relationships that support learners'' emotional wellbeing, self-regulation, independence, and readiness to learn. You''ll work within a specialist therapeutic education provision, applying trauma-informed approaches with maturity, empathy and professionalism.
