Tradewind Recruitment are working with a specialist SEN school that is looking for a Learning Mentor to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time role starting on a temporary basis, with potential to become permanent for the right person.

About the Role:

You''ll be working with pupils who may have:

• Autism
• ADHD
• SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs
• Communication difficulties or sensory needs

Your day will involve:

• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Working one-to-one or in small groups in and out of the classroom
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver holistic care and education

The Ideal Candidate:

• Resilient, calm and compassionate
• Experienced in working with children or young people with SEND/SEMH
• A natural de-escalator, with a supportive presence
• A team player who''s ready to learn and grow in a specialist setting
