Cover People are recruiting an SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist alternative provision in Chapel-en-le-Frith. This rewarding role involves supporting students who require additional emotional, behavioural and academic support, helping them to re-engage with education and develop the skills needed for future success. The provision offers a personalised and nurturing approach, with a strong focus on wellbeing, positive relationships and tailored learning pathways. Staff work closely together to ensure every student receives the support they need to make meaningful progress. The Role: Support students with SEMH needs in lessons and intervention sessions.Build positive relationships that encourage engagement, confidence and progress.Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs.Assist with behaviour management using restorative and positive behaviour approaches.Support students in developing emotional regulation, resilience and social skills.Work collaboratively with teachers, ..... full job details .....
