Salary: -600 - -750 per week (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Term time

About the Role:
As a Learning Mentor with a focus on behaviour, you''ll work closely with some of the school''s most vulnerable students - building the kind of trusted, one-to-one relationships that create real and lasting change. Whether you''re delivering a behaviour support session, conducting a home visit, or sitting alongside a student in class, your presence will make a tangible difference every single day.
This is a role for someone who is emotionally intelligent, calm under pressure, and genuinely motivated by seeing young people grow in confidence, attitude, and achievement.
What We''re Looking For:
- Experience in a behaviour support, mentoring, or pastoral role - ideally within a school, alternative provision, or social care setting
- A confident, solutions-focused approach to challenging behaviour with a genuine belief in every student''s potential
- Strong relationship-building skills with young people, families, and professional colleagues
- Emotionally resilient, adaptable, and calm in difficult or unpredictable situations
- Experience working with vulnerable pupils or those with social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Knowledge of restorative approaches and/or pastoral support planning would be a real advantage
To Be Eligible You Must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Provide two professional references from child-related roles
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
