If so, this opportunity could be perfect for you.Academics Ltd are supporting a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Swindon that is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to support students with additional and complex needs. You will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis, helping them build confidence, engage with education, and feel safe and supported.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide tailored academic and emotional support to students.Act as a positive role model, promoting confidence, resilience, and independence.Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.Support behaviour management and help students overcome barriers to learning.Work closely with teaching staff to deliver personalised support strategies.Ideal CandidateExperience working with young people in an educational or mentoring setting (desirable but not essential).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.Calm and resilient, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour.Well-organised and reliable.Holds a valid DBS on the update service or is willing to obtain one.What We OfferCompetitive pay rate: 85- 100 per day, ..... full job details .....
