Learning Disabilities Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Disability Support Worker to provide practical and emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities. You will assist clients in achieving greater independence and improving their quality of life through personalized care, daily living support, and community engagement.

Support individuals with learning disabilities in daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

Encourage independence, choice, and social inclusion.

Develop and follow individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.

Support clients in accessing education, employment, and recreational activities.

Maintain accurate records and report concerns to senior staff.

Experience in care or support roles .

Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed.

A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care) is desirable.
