We''re recruiting for a Learning Disabilities Clinical Lead to join a leading and growing community complex care provider supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex behaviours.

This is a genuine growth role, with the successful candidate initially taking clinical responsibility for just one package of care in Norfolk. Rather than inheriting a large caseload from day one, you''ll have the opportunity to establish excellent clinical standards, build strong relationships with the care team and wider professionals, and gradually support additional packages as the service grows.

This is a hybrid position offering 1-2 days working from home each week, alongside community-based working. With a salary of -55,00057,000, company car, performance-related bonus and 45p per mile mileage, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RNLD or RMN looking for greater clinical autonomy, flexibility and long-term career progression within community complex care.

The Role
As the Learning Disabilities Clinical Lead, you''ll provide clinical leadership and oversight for specialist community care, initially taking responsibility for one package in Norfolk.

You''ll work closely with the individual, their family, frontline care team and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure the package delivers safe, effective and person-centred care.

As the service develops, you''ll support the assessment and mobilisation of new packages, train and develop frontline teams and maintain high standards of clinical governance across your caseload.

The hybrid structure provides 1-2 days working from home each week, alongside time spent within the community supporting packages and frontline teams.

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on clinical leadership with service development, clinical governance, staff training and complex care management, while helping shape the continued growth of services across Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities

• Take clinical responsibility for an initial complex community care package in Norfolk.
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments, care plans, risk assessments and regular clinical reviews.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight to Nurses and Support Workers delivering care in the community.
• Deliver clinical supervision, competency assessments, practical training and ongoing staff development.
• Support the assessment and safe mobilisation of new complex care packages as the service grows.
• Ensure care packages remain safe, effective, person-centred and clinically robust.
• Lead safeguarding investigations, clinical audits, incident reviews and root cause analysis where required.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and review clinical policies, procedures and best-practice guidance.
• Work collaboratively with families, commissioners, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Local Authorities and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Promote best practice around Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Mental Capacity Act (MCA), Best Interest decision making, safeguarding, trauma-informed care and person-centred approaches.
• Contribute to the continued development of specialist learning disability, autism and mental health services across the region.

About You
To be considered for this Learning Disabilities Clinical Lead position, you''ll need:

• Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
• Strong experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex behaviours.
• Experience within community complex care, supported living, community nursing, mental health services or another relevant community-based clinical environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and risk assessment experience.
• Experience delivering clinical supervision, competency assessments and training to frontline teams.
• Good knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Mental Capacity Act (MCA), safeguarding and clinical governance.
• Confidence working autonomously and making appropriate clinical decisions within community settings.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with families, commissioners and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Norfolk.
