      <description>Location: Reigate | Salary: &amp;pound;35.63/hour 45p per business mile | Type: Temporary | Connect2Surrey|Surrey County Council  Social Worker - up to -35.63 UMB  Adults Services  Reigate - Hybrid      Job Description:     The LD&amp;A Social Worker will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality social work support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism. This role involves assessing the needs of service users, ensuring their care and support are well-coordinated, and advocating for their rights and choices, all while adhering to relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.        Key Responsibilities:    In-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014, and other relevant legislation.  Understanding of person-centred approaches and how to implement them in practice.  Knowledge of safeguarding principles and procedures.    Essential Criteria:     Qualification:  Recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA or MA in Social Work).
