About the Role
The Learning Content Assistant role, based in Gloucester, supports the Learning and Development team at PDT Group. This full-time position offers a salary of £26,500 per annum, with 40 hours worked weekly between 07:30 and 17:30, Monday to Friday. Exact start and finish times are negotiable. The primary function involves crafting and refreshing PowerPoint decks, trainer notes, and supporting materials, alongside proofreading documents for spelling, grammar, and layout. Strong written English and meticulous attention to detail are essential, while a willingness to learn is valued over prior sector experience. This position suits someone who enjoys clarifying written information and enhancing presentation quality.
PDT Group is looking for a motivated and organised person to join our Learning and Development team in Gloucester.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys writing, creating PowerPoint slides, improving documents and making information clear and easy to understand.
You do not need previous Learning and Development experience. We are looking for someone with strong written English, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
What you will do
You will help the team to:
- Create and update PowerPoint presentations, trainer notes and learning materials.
- Check documents for spelling, grammar, layout and accuracy.
- Turn information into clear and professional training content.
- Improve existing training materials.
- Keep course resources organised and up to date.
- Use Microsoft Office and other tools to support content creation.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Good at written English.
- Confident using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Organised and reliable.
- Careful, accurate and detail-focused.
- Willing to learn and take feedback.
- Interested in training, education, writing, design or communication.
- Previous experience in training, administration, education, content creation or document control would be useful, but it is not essential.
