Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working pattern: Full-time

Think FE is recruiting an Apprenticeship Skills Coach for a training provider delivering business and management apprenticeships.
You’ll support a caseload of approximately 40–45 learners from enrolment through to end-point assessment, helping them build their skills, stay engaged and achieve their qualifications.
The role covers Customer Service, Business Administration, Team Leader, Operations Manager and Associate Project Manager apprenticeship standards.
The role

  • Deliver teaching, coaching and assessment through remote sessions, workshops and face-to-face meetings.
  • Set clear learning goals and provide practical, constructive feedback.
  • Hold regular progress reviews with learners and employers.
  • Prepare apprentices for gateway and end-point assessment.
  • Identify barriers to learning and provide timely support.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, including assessments, progress reviews and off-the-job training.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and improvements to learning materials.

You’ll work predominantly from home, with travel to training centres, employer premises and learner workshops when required. Some flexibility outside usual working hours may occasionally be needed, with reasonable notice.
What you’ll need
  • Experience delivering apprenticeships and/or working within an apprenticeship provider, either as an employee or subcontractor.
  • An Award in Education and Training or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards one within an agreed timeframe.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to different learner needs.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and work towards KPIs.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, Teams and digital learning systems.
  • A learner-focused approach and the ability to work independently.

Assessor or coaching qualifications, remote delivery experience and familiarity with e-portfolios or apprenticeship management systems would be welcome, but are not essential.
