Lead Youth Worker

We are looking for an experienced youth worker who is passionate about the personal, educational, creative and social development of young people and helping them reach their full potential. You will be part of a supportive environment where we help young people learn to treat themselves and others with kindness and respect discover exciting new ideas and activities they are unlikely to experience anywhere else laugh, learn, experiment, make mistakes and thrive grow into motivated, positive, resilient and caring citizens As well as being friendly, cheerful, positive and self-driven, your are confident and resilient when working with young people who sometimes show challenging or complex behaviours. You need to be level 3 JNC qualified or have a relevant youth work qualification and experience working in an inner-city environment. You will have sound up-to-date knowledge of the principles of earliest help, early intervention and prevention. Lift is a creative and healthy living youth hub for 13-19 year olds. Young people are genuinely involved in working with professionals to provide spaces where they can relax, develop their creativity and values, improve their health and wellbeing and enjoy preparing for further education and employment. ..... full job details .....
