Lead X-Ray Screeners sought by a £multimillion pound food products manufacturer to join their team in Bilston.They are recruiting 3 roles, 1 for each of the following shift patterns:Morning: Monday to Friday 5.30am - 3pmDays: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6pmEvenings: Tuesday to Friday 2pm - 10.30pm, Saturday 8.30am - 5pmThe Role:As Lead X-Ray Screener, you are responsible for ensuring the effective operation, performance, compliance, and continuous improvement of all x-ray inspection processes.The role provides technical leadership, supports food safety objectives, drives operational standards, and acts as the primary point of contact for all x-ray-related activities within the production environment.Your day to day duties will include:Take ownership of the day-to-day operation, monitoring, calibration, and validation of x-ray inspection systems to ensure optimal performance and food safety compliance.Act as the site expert for x-ray operations, providing guidance and support to production teams while ensuring correct product presentation and system settings.Monitor equipment performance, identify faults or trends, and coordinate with Engineering and external service providers to resolve issues quickly.Maintain accurate records, reports, and corrective actions using Redzone, analysing data to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.Lead investigations into equipment failures, contamination incidents, and process deviations, implementing effective corrective and ..... full job details .....
