Lead Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal role at IVC Evidensia (Wellpets, Worle). Salary up to £75,000 DOE. Relocation allowance up to £5,000. Welcome bonus up to £10,000. We are looking for a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Wellpets, Worle, a cosy farm-house practice serving the local community. We support relocation where needed and offer flexible hours where possible.There are no OOH duties and we can discuss flexible full-time (usually over 4 days) or part-time hours. You will contribute to our Saturday rota (8:30am–12:30pm). We are supported by a local OOH service provider. Although this is a sole-charge position, you will have access to a strong local support network through IVC Evidensia and nearby practices.Our Yeovil branch and Vale Portishead hospital provide opportunities for case discussion, mutual support, and clinical collaboration as needed.Responsibilities

Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for small animal patients as a sole-charge practitioner, with access to a supportive network.Contribute to the Saturday rota (8:30am–12:30pm) with no mandatory out-of-hours duties.Collaborate with a network of local practices for case discussions and professional support via phone or video.Maintain a calm and efficient working day by contributing to a well-structured diary and delivering 1:1 client care.Engage with the practice team to support client relations and continuity of care.Location and Practice

Wellpets, Worle is located in Worle, near Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset. Worle offers convenient amenities and access to both urban and natural attractions. Transport links include proximity to the M5, Bristol Airport, and direct rail services to London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads.Equipment and Working Environment

Modern equipment: Idexx haematology/biochemistry, microscopy, ultrasound with Doppler, digital X-ray DR system, dental DR, multiparameter monitor, electrocautery, and therapeutic laser.Structured diary and a dedicated nursing team to support efficient patient care and client relations.Benefits and Development
