Lead Unified Comms Engineer

Your new company Hays Recruitment have partnered with Leicestershire County Council in the search for a Lead Unified Comms Engineer.As the SME in the team, you will own and be responsible for the provision of maintenance, support, development and consultancy for specific technology stacks within the Unified Comms infrastructure to ensure that IT system services remain stable, reliable and resilient in a cost-effective manner.Mentoring and guiding technical specialists and other technical staff is key as part of the knowledge-sharing ethos within the team.You will also be expected to co-ordinate small teams of technicians to deliver new services and service improvements.Your new role will involveOwn, support, install and implement IT infrastructure solutions related to Unified Comms and Corporate email delivery.Liaise with team members, the wider IT department and our customersAdvise on technical and security standards to ensure compliance, security of systems and services to maintain high service availability.What you need to succeedIn-depth experience of Unified Comms, ideally in a public sector organisationExchange online management (6000 users and several thousand other mailbox resources)Third party SEG managementDKIM, SPF, DMARC managementDemonstrable experience in messaging, Exchange and O365Demonstrable experience and understanding of secure email gatewaysStrong understanding of email routingAbility to demonstrate awareness and manage the end-to-end Unified Comms ..... full job details .....
