They are searching for a Lead Transport Planner to play a vital leadership role in keeping their operations running smoothly. This is what you''ll be doing: Lead the day-to-day planning and optimisation of a UK-wide multi-drop, multi-day delivery fleet. Schedule fleet movements, driver and shunter rotas, supplier collections, internal transfers and third-party collections. Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, on time, in full and in compliance with transport legislation and drivers'' hours regulations. Monitor transport performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and maximise fleet utilisation while reducing operational costs.
