The Role
As Lead Designer, you''ll be at the heart of their design team. With at least 5 years'' Tekla experience, you''ll take ownership of design development while guiding and mentoring others. Your expertise will ensure our projects meet the highest technical standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements - all while fostering collaboration across design, engineering, and installation teams.
What You''ll Be Doing
- Leading design development from concept through to final approval.
- Managing and supporting a team of designers, encouraging best practice.
- Collaborating with engineering, production, and site teams to deliver efficient solutions.
- Reviewing and signing off drawings and technical documents.
- Solving design challenges and providing clear, practical solutions.
- Sharing expertise and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Driving continuous improvement in design processes and standards.
What We''re Looking For
- A strong background in Tekla Structures (5+ years'' experience).
- Proven ability to lead design teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with an eye for detail.
- Passion for innovation and continuous professional growth.
- Must drive due to the office location.
