Lead Subsea Engineer

Lead Subsea Engineer Location: Aberdeen Contract Type: Permanent Sector: Subsea Oil and Gas Energy Transition Work Arrangement: Flexible hybrid working Key Responsibilities Lead teams to deliver subsea engineering projects for clients. Lead subsea systems design to relevant codes and standards. Oversee the development of subsea engineering digital tools. Support proposals as well as project delivery. Manage deliverables including design calculations, analysis models, specifications, and study reports. Manage interfaces with flow assurance, process, technical safety, and risk. Plan and prioritise work for a team of Subsea Engineers. Mentor and develop other engineers. Requirements 12+ years'' relevant industry experience. BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent). Extensive subsea experience in upstream oil and gas. Consultancy background. Design experience across pipelines, risers, subsea systems, and cables. Integrity management experience including fitness-for-service, integrity assessments, and life extension. Project management and project controls experience. Chartered status (or working towards) preferred. Offshore experience and certification beneficial. ..... full job details .....
