      <description>Location: Newcastle upon Tyne | Salary: &amp;pound;69000 - &amp;pound;80000/annum DOE | Type: Permanent | We Are Zenith are working with our client who are seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership across structural design, analysis, and compliance activities for complex engineered products. This role will be responsible for ensuring designs meet industry standards, client requirements, and internal engineering procedures, while supporting project delivery from concept through to manufacture.   Key Responsibilities     Lead structural engineering activities for both standard and bespoke product designs.   Perform and review structural analysis, stress calculations, and load assessments.   Develop and maintain engineering calculations, design documentation, templates, and technical standards.   Ensure compliance with industry codes, client specifications, and internal engineering procedures.   Support design reviews, technical approvals, and engineering governance activities.   Provide technical guidance to engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and project teams.   Support tendering, project execution, and technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
